Dr. Lindsay Allison is a licensed Doctor of Audiology who is passionate about helping people hear better, think clearer, and live fuller, more connected lives. She believes hearing care is about more than just ears – it’s about supporting your brain, relationships, and overall well-being.

Using a research-based, patient-centered approach, Dr. Allison focuses on early detection, prevention, and long-term wellness. Her goal is to help every patient stay engaged, independent, and confident in all areas of life.

Dr. Allison earned her Doctor of Audiology degree from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, where she also taught as a lecturer. She also holds a B.A. in Psychology and dual degrees in Public Health and Criminal Justice through the Community College of the Air Force – a reflection of her well-rounded, whole health approach to care.

With advanced training in both tinnitus management and dementia care, Dr. Allison is a Certificate Holder in Tinnitus Managment and a Certfified Dementia Practitioner (CDP). This unique background allows her to provide integrated care for people with complex hearing and cognitive needs, bridging the gap between hearing health and brain health.

A trusted voice in hearing and cognitive wellness across central Maine, Dr. Allison is actively involved in her community through hearing screenings, senior wellness programs, and education. She is a proud member of the American Audiology, American Tinnitus Association, Kennebec Chamber of Commerce and Lions Club.

As Maine has the oldest population in the nation, Dr. Allison is dedicated to collaborative care that supports healthy aging. She works closely with physicians, specialists, and community partners to detect changes early, prevent decline, and keep Maine’s older adults active, engaged, and thriving.
